About the Project

Abastech LLC, a leading SIRA-approved CCTV supplier in the UAE, was searching for a comprehensive solution for SEO and website revamping. After an in-depth review, we identified the need for a dynamic website with a custom design to align seamlessly with their brand guidelines. Considering the best solutions, we recommended either a PHP-based custom Laravel website or a custom WordPress site with tailored UI/UX. The client opted for our proposed approach, which includes both SEO optimization and a complete website overhaul, incorporating e-commerce functionality with detailed product pages and lead-tracking query forms for improved performance and user engagement. We developed a dynamic website with a fully custom UI/UX using WordPress CMS, ensuring scalability and ease of management. The project was successfully delivered within a 50-day timeline, meeting all client requirements and exceeding their expectations.

1. Requirements gathering

The primary requirement was to create a dynamic website that aligns with the brand guidelines, ensuring a seamless user experience. This included implementing SEO optimization and performing a full website overhaul. The updated site would incorporate e-commerce functionality, detailed product pages, and lead-tracking query forms to enhance user engagement and boost conversion rates.

2. Research & Analysis

Over a span of four days, we conducted user research to understand the specific needs and preferences of customers in the CCTV camera segment. In parallel, we analyzed competitors' designs and the latest trends in the surveillance industry. A detailed presentation summarizing these findings was then shared with the client for review and further discussion.

3. Wireframe

Over the course of five days, I focused on developing prototypes by converting wireframes into interactive mockups that showcased the user interface functionality. These prototypes allowed stakeholders to experience the design's flow and operation in a simulated environment. By integrating interactive elements and navigation pathways, I provided valuable insights into the user experience and gathered feedback. This iterative process enabled me to refine the design, ensuring it aligned with project goals before proceeding with development.

4. UI Design & Prototyping

With careful attention to branding concepts, I crafted the UI style guide in three days. It outlined design principles, components, and guidelines to ensure a consistent and authentic brand experience throughout the user interface.

6. Client Training & Handover

After deployment, we conducted detailed client training and handover sessions to ensure a smooth transition to website management. These sessions covered content updates, user engagement strategies, analytics interpretation, and basic troubleshooting. We also provided comprehensive documentation and support materials to empower the client to efficiently manage and optimize the website’s performance post-launch.
