Ladybaazar.com is the ultimate destination for Indian ethnic wear, exclusively catering to women and showcasing the best of Indian fashion trends. The client required a complete website revamp, transitioning from WooCommerce to a custom Shopify platform, targeting a product range of approximately 2,000 items. The goal was to create a fully-featured e-commerce website that leverages the advanced capabilities of modern e-commerce setups.

1. Requirements gathering session

The client's primary requirement was to migrate the Lady Baazar website from WordPress WooCommerce to a custom Shopify platform, with a strong emphasis on optimizing for top-tier speed. They also requested exclusive hero banners to showcase offers and brand-related products. The revamped website should include features such as user login, search history, and advanced filters like Best Selling, Price (Low to High), Alphabetical (A-Z/Z-A), and Date (Old to New, New to Old), along with full e-commerce functionality.

2. Research & Analysis

The research and analysis process included identifying key competitors to benchmark their strategies and market positioning, evaluating opportunities for differentiation, and developing user personas through surveys and behavior analysis. This process also involved mapping out current user journeys to pinpoint obstacles and opportunities for enhancement, as well as assessing the technical requirements to ensure the feasibility of the proposed features.

3. Wireframe

Considering the key points and referencing the brand book, the first set of wireframes was developed and shared with the development team to gather feedback and refine the design. Close collaboration with the developers ensured that the design was implemented effectively and aligned with technical requirements. The final design was then shared with the client for their review and feedback.

4. UI Design & Prototyping

After carefully reviewing the client's feedback, the design was revised accordingly and finalized for the next phase. The completed layout, along with graphical assets and other necessary elements, was shared with the frontend developer via Figma. This ensured that every aspect of the design was accurately translated into the website’s frontend.

5. Testing & staging

Website testing was conducted in-house by our dedicated testing team to ensure the highest level of security and thorough checks for vulnerabilities. The comprehensive testing process included evaluating user flows to guarantee seamless navigation and an optimal user experience, with a focus on delivering a secure website that prioritizes user data protection and privacy.

6. Client Training & Handover

Upon completing the deployment process, conducted comprehensive client training and handover sessions to ensure a smooth transition to website management. These sessions covered all aspects of website management, including content updates, user engagement strategies, analytics interpretation, and basic troubleshooting. Additionally, provided thorough documentation and support materials to empower the client in effectively managing and optimizing the website's performance after launch.
