1. Understanding the Brand

I participated in a comprehensive meeting with the client to gain a thorough understanding of their brand essence, encompassing their mission, vision, core values, and target audience demographics. Armed with this profound insight, I was fully equipped to move forward with the logo creation process, aiming to craft a design that authentically captures and amplifies their brand identity, resonating seamlessly with their intended audience.

2. Brainstorming & Sketching

The logo for Zik space is anchored around the letter "Z" serving as the focal point to emphasize the company's name. Integrated within the design is a square ruler, meticulously symbolizing precision in design and drafting, alongside an equals sign arrow, strategically representing cost-effectiveness. Following initial rough sketches, these elements underwent refinement to ensure clarity and impact during the client presentation.

3. Trademark Research

Trademark research plays a pivotal role as a proactive measure in safeguarding the integrity of any brand, mitigating potential legal risks, and establishing the groundwork for sustained business success. By diligently conducting comprehensive research at the outset of my brand development process, I ensure that the elements proposed for my client's brand are both distinctive and legally safeguarded. This meticulous approach not only bolsters the credibility of the brand but also fosters confidence, underscoring my dedication to crafting a unique and secure brand identity that resonates effectively in the marketplace.

4. Typography & Color Theory

Considering the industry focus on "events," I have opted for the primary font style "Designer," which conveys a modern and sophisticated aesthetic. For headings and subheadings, "Tenada" will be used, offering a bold and distinctive appearance. To ensure readability and consistency across all content, "Poppins" has been selected for all body text, providing clarity and professionalism throughout the brand's communication materials. In terms of brand colors, the primary colors used for the logo are Potters Clay, Clay, Blush, Black, and White, which evoke a sense of elegance and versatility. Additionally, secondary colors such as Dull Orange, Harvest Gold, and Chalky add vibrancy and complement the primary palette, enhancing visual appeal and brand identity cohesion.

5. Mockups & Brand Guidelines

After thorough refinement, I developed the brand guidelines to finalize the brand book. And facilitated the final handover of the project by sharing related assets with the client through both pen drive and cloud transfer methods.
